Jaguar ingenium engines-Mercedes Apple tech-An electric Audi Q6

Mercedes Benz have officially began to roll out their latest in technology for their vehicles. The new technology is an app that can be downloaded to iPhones which can allow the driver to search for directions to where they want to go, the driver can then go on to send this information to the sat nav system inside of their vehicle which receives the data and uses it. Mercedes have confirmed that both C and S Class model ranges are now compatible with the new technology which is known as the Command Online system. The new apple watch also makes use of the technology with the wearer of the watch being able to walk a journey which the route just walked can then also be sent on to the in car sat nav and gives the driver the most appropriate driving journey for what they have just walked. The new Apple technology from Mercedes Benz is expected to be a popular feature for Mercedes cars in the future with both the S and C Class range already making use of the Command system.

Jaguar Ingenium range for the Land Rover Discovery Sport

The Discovery Sport is one of the most popular and most loved vehicle additions in the Land Rover range and we are excited to reveal that the car could be about to get even more exciting by offering the Jaguar Ingenium engine range. The news has been confirmed that new diesel Ingenium engines are now available to order for the Discovery Sport. A two litre Ingenium diesel is now up for grabs and the buyer can opt for one of two states of tune which include the entry level 148 bhp or the option of 178bhp is also on the table. The running costs and efficiency of the ingenium engine range is what they are most known for and with 129g/km C02 emissions emitted from the diesel, its not hard to see why this could be a popular choice for any buyer. Jaguar Land Rover have confirmed that the Ingenium diesel will officially replace the standard 2.2 engine offered and a six speed manual transmission is offered as standard for the range however, drivers can face the option of a nine speed automatic for the higher powered versions of the car. You may be surprised to learn that with the new engine, prices have dropped. A purchase price of £30,695 now kicks off the engine range.

Audi confirm an electric Q6

Audi have confirmed that an all electric version of their Q6 model will officially go on sale from 2018 and the brand are looking for big things with the new model as far as sales and success is concerned. News on specifications for the car still remain a little quiet for the time being but Rupert Stadler the CEO of Audi has said that the new model will be very sporty and packed with many utilities. He also confirmed that all electric power will be used for the new Q6 model and a range of 500km has been confirmed for pure electric power which works out at around 310 miles. This would be a big boost for the electric car market and if everything falls into place the way Audi are hoping it will for the new Q6, we can expect to see a new EV topping the charts.
