JLR pothole technology-Audi EV crossover-Infiniti career vaccancies

Audi have this week made their intentions clear and have announced to the world that they are planning to launch a brand new crossover model powered by an all electric setup. The firm have suggested that the car may go into production in around three years time and will more than likely be shown to the world in a concept form first and foremost perhaps this year from the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. It is clearly early days for the new car as the brand have yet to suggest any technical information about the new EV crossover but one thing we do know is that the manufacturer will offer around 312 miles for a round trip from a single charge with the new model. It is believed that this is going to be done in order to match up with the cars biggest rival the Model S from Tesla.

Jaguar Land Rovers new pothole technology

Jaguar Land Rover made the headlines in the car industry yesterday by issuing a statement revealing some brand new technology that they have been working on. The brand revealed that their latest work has been focused on a new system for their cars which will allow the vehicle to react appropriately when it comes to travelling along uneven road surfaces and potholes and cracks in the road. The new system features sensors which will be located underneath the vehicle which reads the road and then adjusts the cars suspension system appropriately to match the surface that its travelling on. This is something that if proven to work effectively could carry over to other models from various manufacturers in the future. JLR have given no time scale as to when we could see the new technology fitted to cars on the road or what vehicles these will be. Some of the brands biggest sellers such as the Range Rover Evoque and the XF from Jaguar though would be likely to receive the new system.

It is being suggested that the development of this new car could very well open up the doors to over three hundred new job vacancies for the firm here in the United Kingdom. It was announced that the new car alongside its QX30 counterpart will be built in the companies factory in Sunderland where the new staff will be taken on following a recruitment process which has now been opened by the firm.
